Day 06: Aurangabad – Ellora – Girishneshwar Temple (2nd Jyotirlinga) - Aurangabad (45 Kms / 1 Hrs)                  
Post breakfast proceed for guided visit of Ellora Caves (Closed on Tuesday) these enchanting caves were built in the time period between 5th and 10th century AD by the rulers of the Rashtrakuta Dynasty. They were built out of the vertical face of the Charanandri Hills and are 108 km from Ajanta Caves. The cave complex consists of 34 caves representing the three different religions of the world- Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism which is a proof that religious harmony existed during that time. It is also a World Heritage Site. There are temples as well as the monasteries inside the cave complex. The Kailash Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva inside cave 16 is the largest monolithic structure in the whole world.
Also visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, 'Grishneshwar Temple' (2nd Jyotirlinga), also known as the Dhushmeshwar Temple. The word Grishneshwar means "lord of compassion". The temple has a traditional South-Indian architecture design. It was re-constructed by the grandfather of Shivaji (Maloji Bhosale) in the 16th century and later again by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar in the 18th century. The temple is made up of red-colored stones and occupies an area of 44,400 square feet. It is not just divine but has a unique architectural style that will leave you captivated.

Day 11: Dwarka (Nageshwar Temple 4th Jyotirlinga)
Post breakfast proceed to visit visit Dwarkadhish Temple, Bet Dwarka, Nageshwar temple, the Rukmini Temple, Gopi Talav.

Dwarkadhish Temple is Sabha Mandap. It is a 60-pillared hall, which houses almost 2500 years old scriptures. The hall has ‘jharokhas’, offering a nice view of the nearby flowing Gomti River

Bet Dwarka: Bet is situated at 30kms from Dwarka and is surrounded by sea from all sides. One can reach Bet from Dwarka through Okha by road. On reaching Okha port jetty, one can reach Bet through a little sea journey in a launch or in a small boat.

Nageshwar Temple or Nagnath Temple (4th Jyotirlinga) is located on the route between Gomati Dwarka and the Bait Dwarka Island on the coast of Saurashtra in Gujarat. The Jyotirlinga enshrined in the Temple of Nagnath is known as NageshwarMahadev and attracts thousands of pilgrims all-round the year. This powerful Jyotirlinga symbolizes protection from all poisons. It is said that those who pray to the NageshwarLinga become free of poison. The RudraSamhitasloka refers to Nageshwar with the phrase 'DaarukaavaneNaagesham'.

Gopi Talav: This is the place where Lord Krishna used to play with his Gopikas. There is a small pond where it is said that Lord Krishna used to play with the Gopika Strees (Gopika Women).

The Rukmini temple, dating from 12 to 13 Century, was built in honor of Rani Rukmani, princess of Vidharba, which was to be married to Sishupala, but fled with Lord Krishna. This small temple, 1.5 km north of the city, is an architectural masterpiece. The temple walls are decorated with beautiful paintings and sculptures.

Adam's Bridge;, also known as Rama's Bridge or Rama Setu, is a chain of limestone shoals, between Pamban Island, also known as Rameswaram Island, off the south-eastern coast of Tamil Nadu, India, and Mannar Island, off the north-western coast of Sri Lanka

Pamban Bridge; is a railway bridge which connects the town of Rameswaram on Pamban Island to mainland India. Opened on 24 February 1914, it was India's first sea bridge, and was the longest sea bridge in India until the opening of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in 2010

The formerly hushed murmuring of ancient Sanskrit Shlokas (hymns) now rise, in one voice, to a crescendo of unparalleled piety & joy.

After taking in these rituals, disembark for a short walk through the buzzing lanes of Varanasi’s old city. Along narrow passageways, pass bazaars that cater to the millions of pilgrims who come here to worship Kashi Vishwanath (10th Jyotirlinga), the patron deity of Varanasi. The gold-covered temple where the deity resides is closed to non-Hindus, but the streets surrounding it are a fascinating mix of commerce and faith.

Durga Temple; is also known as the Monkey temple (because of the presence of huge number of monkeys), situated in the Durga Kund, Varanasi. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Durga. It was built in the 18th century. Durga temple was constructed by a Bengali Maharani in the north Indian Style with multi-tiered shikhara. An attractive pond known as the Durga Kund is made on the right side of the temple which really increases the beauty of the temple. The pond has stone stairs at all sides as well as there is watch pillars at each corner of the pond.

Sankat Mochan Temple; is one of the important and sacred temples of Varanasi located in the southern part of teh city. It is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The word "Sankat Mochan" means one who helps alleviate suffering. Tulsidas,

Tulsi Manas Temple; is one of the most famous temples of Varanasi. It is also an important tourist attraction of the holy city. The Tulsi Manas temple is located near the famous Durga temple. It was built in white marble in the year 1964. The temple has been made more charming by the magnificent landscaping around it. The Tulsi Manas temple is dedicated to lord Ram.

Later visit the the Bharat Kala Museum the Kashi Hindu University has a museum that has an excellent collection of precious and extraordinary historical objects, statues, pictures, paintings and documents. Museum is small but very well maintained and gives an over view of the very old city of Varanasi. 

Followed by visit to the new Vishwanath temple of Varanasi is located in the premises of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). It is also called the Birla temple as the famous industrialist family of India, the Birlas, constructed it. The New Vishwanath Temple is dedicated to lord Shiva and is a replica of the original Vishwanath temple. The temple is built in white marbles, and was planned by Madan Mohan Malviya, the founder of the Banaras Hindu University.

Followed by a private guided excursion to Sarnath; the site of the deer park where Gautama Buddha is said to have given his first sermon about the basic principles of Buddhism. It has been a premier centre for Buddhism & has a rich collection of ancient Buddhist relics & antiques comprising numerous Buddha & Bodhisattva images on display at the Archaeological Museum.

Day 23: Varanasi –Bodhgaya (250 Kms / 6 Hrs Approx)
Post breakfast drive to Bodhgaya, the place of Buddha’s Supreme Enlightenment, the most hallowed place on earth to Buddhists. During the Buddha’s time, this place by the banks of the river Niranjana was known as Uruvela. Emperor Ashoka was the first to build a temple at this sacred spot & since his first visit in the year 259 BC, countless pilgrims have visited this cradle of Buddhism without intermission for more than 2500 years. For Buddhists, Bodhgaya is the most important of the four pilgrimage sites related to the life of Lord Buddha. On arrival check into your hotel.

Later proceed for the city tour of Bodhgaya visiting; Mahabodhi Temple, undoubtedly the most exquisite-looking building in Bodhgaya. Standing 52 m high, it consists of a straight pyramidal tower surmounted by a stupa. Its roots go back to 3rd century BC when Emperor Ashoka built the shrine there. In subsequent centuries, renovation & further construction took place & the entire Mahabodhi Temple, as seen today, is mainly the structure of the Huviska period (111-138 AD). As it was built over the remains of Ashoka’s Shrine, the Vajrasana Throne retains its original position as the Seat of Enlightenment. Mahabodhi Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Bodhi Tree under which Lord Buddha sat & attained Supreme Enlightenment is situated behind the Mahabodhi Temple. It is a Peepal tree (Ficus religiosa) said to have sprung up at the same time when the Buddha was born. It has a long history of destruction & re-plantation & the present tree originates from sapling of the original tree from Sri Lanka. It is suggested to spend some time in the tranquil atmosphere of this sacred spot & reflect upon the virtues of Lord Buddha, attain fullness of faith & calm, followed by meditation.

Day 24: Bodhgaya – Deogharh (255 Kms / 5 Hrs Approx) 
Post breakfast visit the 80 ft Buddha Statue, different Buddhist Monasteries

Archaeological Museum, Diamond Throne, The Animesh Lochana and Sujata Garh, Vajrasana.

Later drive to Deoghar, on arrival check into your Hotel.

Day 25: Deogharh (Baidyanath Temple” 11th Jyotirlinga”) – Bodhgaya (255 Kms / 5 Hrs Approx)
Post breakfast proceed to visit the Baidyanath Jyotirlinga temple (11th Jyotirlinga), also known as Baba Baidyanath dham and Baidyanath dham is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the most sacred abodes of Shiva. It is located in Deoghar in the Santhal Parganas division of the state of Jharkhand.
